AFCA begins organisational reset with stronger focus on members
AFCA is entering a new chapter, with a refreshed Board and a renewed commitment to listening closely to members to strengthen day-to-day engagement across the industry.
AFCA welcomes new director Francis Richardson, alongside returning directors Mark Brown and Meeghan Price, following the retirement of several long-serving Board members and the termination of Tim Lester as CEO.
New Chair Lloyd Martin says the changes are an opportunity to refocus AFCA’s work.
“AFCA exists for its members. Before making long-term decisions, we want to hear directly from the people we represent,” Mr Martin said.
Over the coming weeks, AFCA will be contacting members to identify their top three priorities. These insights will guide planning ahead of the Board’s strategy meeting in December.
The Board of Directors, its members and sponsors continue to be supported by the AFCA administration team of Charlotte Hobbs and Della Wati.
AFCA will share updates as work progresses.
